SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Children from the age of 8 years and mentally, sensory and physically
impaired persons may only use the device if they have been informed in detail
about the functions and safety precautions by a supervisor responsible for
them beforehand and understand the associated risks.
• Check the voltage on the product label before use. Ensure that you only
connect the appliance to sockets with the appropriate voltage.
• Do not vacuum in the vicinity of flammable or explosive materials as these can
be ignited by the motor.
• Do not cover the air intakes as the motor could be damaged by heat build-up.
• Do not vacuum flammable or explosive substances such as lit cigarettes or
gasoline. Do not vacuum up any sharp objects that could stick to the filter or
clog the filter. Do not vacuum powdery materials such as calcareous powder,
plaster of paris or graphite powder, as this could damage the motor.
• Do not turn the device over, otherwise water may get into the motor.
• Switch off the device and disconnect it from the power supply after each use
and before cleaning.
• Keep the device away from direct sunlight or extreme heat, as these can
deform the plastic.
• To avoid damage, do not twist or step on the suction hose.
• Do not let water run onto or into the lid during cleaning, as this could damage
the electrical components.
• Use the product only as described in the instructions. Any other use may
result in damage to the product or personal injury.
• Modifying or changing the product will compromise product safety.
• Handle the product carefully. It can be damaged by bumps, blows or falls from
a small height.
• Keep the product away from moisture and extreme heat.
• Repairs to the device should only be carried out by an authorised specialist
workshop. Do not open the device under any circumstances. Incorrect
assembly may lead to malfunctions or total failure.
• The device should be protected from any moisture and direct sunlight.
• Do not use detergents to clean the device. Use a dry or slightly damp
(microfibre) cloth for cleaning.
Note: If water comes out of the air outlet, the device must not be tilted,
otherwise the motor will be damaged. Do not use the device as a pump, as this
could damage the motor.
