SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read the operating instructions carefully before using the device to ensure correct
use and to familiarise yourself with the risks and dangers associated with the
device.
• Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
• After unpacking the device, check for any damage and for completeness.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
customer service or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid danger.
• This device may only be used by children from the age of 8 and up or by
persons with reduced physical, sensory and mental capabilities or a lack of
experience and / or knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed
in the safe use of the device and have understood the resulting dangers.
• Cleaning and user maintenance should not be done by children unless they
are 8 years of age or older and are supervised.
• Children must not play with the device.
• If an error occurs, switch off the device immediately and pull the power plug
out of the socket. Never use a defective device.
• The device must not be used near sources of heat or hot objects, as this could
cause the plastic parts of the device to deform, which could affect the use of
the device.
• When using the device, make sure that all filters are correctly installed and
inserted. Do not use the device without a filter insert.
• Before each use, inspect the power plug and cord for damage to reduce the
risk of electric shock.
• Make sure that the voltage of your socket outlet matches the voltage indicated
on the rating plate of the device before using the device.
• We recommend that you cut off the power cord of the device before properly
disposing of it.
• Supervise any children who are near the device while it is in use.
• This device is only suitable for household use. Never use the device outdoors.
• Never use the device to vacuum still glowing cigarette butts or hot ashes. To
avoid damaging the motor, do not vacuum solvents, kerosene, gasoline, paint,
sewage or other liquids.
