Donning instructions
Knee brace for varus / valgus relief
Note: It is best if you sit on the edge of a chair
or a stool when putting on the brace.

Intended purpose: M.4s OA comfort is a rigid brace designed
for relief and stabilisation of the knee joint.

Open all straps and attach the
ends of Velcro straps to the belt
to avoid damage.
Bend the affected leg to an
approx. 70 degree angle and slip
the brace over it (image 1).
Position the brace so that the
hinge centre is located at the
level of the upper edge of the
kneecap (see diagram).
Make sure that the brace is not
twisted when it is fitted to the
leg (image 2).
Close straps 1 and 2. Then check

again that the hinge fits
correctly.
The lateral hinges should
be positioned in a slightly
backwards direction.
Then close straps 3 to 6 in
ascending order (image 3).

Walk a few steps to check that
the brace is properly fitted.
If necessary, the straps can be
adjusted by securing them in the
same ascending order (image 4).
