Installing the SSD in a notebook PC

In this example, we'll install the SSD in a Toshiba dynabook PX/820LL.

Turn off the computer. Remove the power cable, AC adapter, and battery.

Open the computer's cover.
Remove screws

Remove the old hard drive.
Caution Carefully unplug the connector
without forcing it.
Remove the screws
Unplug the drive cables
Remove the hard drive

Replace the old drive with the SSD.
