MAINTENANCE
Action

cable to a suitable
socket.

for the overload (too
much grass, twigs
etc.). Wait a few
minutes before
attempting to
restart.

power cable or to a
cable with a larger
cross-section
Contact your
service agent.
External cleaning
•
Brush leaves, grass and the like off of the lawn mower.
•
Do not use a high pressure washer to clean the
machine.
•
Do not wash the machine with water, as water can
enter the electrical system or the engine and cause
damage to the machine or short circuit.
•
Keep the machine clean and dry both underneath and
on top.
Air filter
•
Dismantle the filter cover to inspect the air filter. Blow
out the filter using compressed air.
•
An air filter that has been in use for a long time cannot
be cleaned completely. The filter must therefore be
replaced with a new one at regular intervals. A
damaged air filter must always be replaced.
Contact your service agent for replacements.
Vibrations
If heavy vibration occurs, stop the machine. Check the
cutting attachment. See instructions under the heading
"Cutting equipment". Contact your service workshop if the
problem remains.
Cutting equipment
•
Check the cutting attachment for damage or cracks. A
damaged cutting attachment should always be
replaced.
•
Always ensure the cutter is well ground and balanced
correctly.
Replacing the blades
WARNING! Always wear heavy-duty
!
gloves when servicing and maintaining
the cutting equipment. The cutters are
very sharp and cuts can occur very
easily.
Dismantling
•
Unscrew the bolt holding the cutter.
•
Remove the old blade. Make sure the blade bracket is
free of damage. Also check that the cutter bolt is
undamaged and that the engine shaft is not bent.
Assembly
•
Fit the new blade with the punched text facing the
blade bracket.
•
Tighten the nut firmly (approx. 30 Nm). Pull the blade
around by hand and make sure it rotates freely.
•
Test run the machine.
