Switching off the scale

− Press and hold ON/ZERO until the display turns off.
The scale switches off automatically if it is not used for about a minute.

Resetting the scale

Reset the scale to its default settings if unusual or obviously incorrect values are shown
on the display.
1. Remove the battery from the battery compartment and wait a moment.
2. Re-insert the battery.
Pay attention to the correct polarity of the battery (+/-). The plus pole (+) must point
upwards.
After switching on the scale, you can start weighing as usual.

Cleaning

NOTE on material damage
− Do not immerse the scale or chopping board in water or other liquids.
− Never use hard, scratchy or abrasive cloths or detergents to clean
the scale or the chopping board. Otherwise, the surface could be
scratched.
The scale should be cleaned immediately after use, especially after its contact with fat,
spices, vinegar, and other strongly flavoured and/or coloured foodstuffs.
− Wipe the scale as needed with a slightly damp soft cloth. Avoid contact with citric
acid.
− You should also clean the chopping board with a slightly damp soft cloth.
− Make sure you let the chopping board dry fully after cleaning.
If possible, keep it upright in a well-ventilated place.
