Open the cover carefully. Make sure that the cover is not damaged. The lid is
secured against falling down on the right short side of the connection
compartment. The lid folds to the right.

To close, proceed in reverse order.

Make sure carefully that the seal is not damaged.

Tighten the screws with a torque of 4.5 Nm.
Ambient installation condition

In case of free weathering, the explosion-proof unit can be equipped with a
protective roof or wall.

Do not create cold bridges (risk of condensation). If necessary, set the housing
at a distance to reduce the formation of condensation in the housing to a
minimum.
Demounting

Proceed in reverse order to assembly

6.2 Installation


Install the device carefully and only in compliance with the safety instructions
(chapter "Safety").
DANGER! Explosion due to strong heating inside the housing!
Non-observance will result in fatal or severe injuries.
Select suitable conductors that do not exceed a permissible temperature
rise inside the housing.
Use suitable connectors (e.g. RJ-45).
Observe the specified cross-sections.
Attach wire end ferrules or plug connectors properly.

To be observed when installing devices in the Ex ec enclosure:

Always connect the protective earth conductor.

Use cable lugs for external protective conductor connection.

Lay the protective earth conductor firmly and close to the housing.

Include all bare, non-energized metal parts in the protective conductor system.

Lay neutral conductors as live conductors.
