16. TROUBLESHOOTING
Two main faults may occur with the 180 DK - 180 DK-4 power sweepers: the machine causes dust to rise during use or leaves dirt
on the floor. There can be many reasons for these, but if the machine is used correctly and routine maintenance is carried out regularly,
they cannot occur very often. Therefore:
FAULT
Machine cannot be started
Engine is running erratically
Engine is overheated
Engine is running but machine
is only moving slowly or is not
moving at all
Whistling sound in the hydraulic
system
Brushes are rotating slowly or not
at all
Too little or no suction power in
the brush area
The machine produces dust
The machine does not collect
dirt
REMEDY
Sit on the driver seat, the seat contact switch gets activated.
Charging or replacing battery
Fill in fuel, deaerate the fuel system
Change fuel filter
Check fuel pipes, connections and joints and maintain them if required
Inform ISAL Customer Service
Clean air filter or change filter cartridge
Check fuel pipes, connections and joints and maintain them if required
Inform ISAL Customer Service
Refill coolant
Flush the radiator
Tighten the alternator drive belt
Inform ISAL Customer Service
Release parking brake
Check for trapped ribbons and strings.
Inform ISAL Customer Service
Refill hydraulic fluid
Inform ISAL Customer Service
Move the gas lever all the way to the front (high speed).
Check for trapped ribbons and strings.
Inform ISAL Customer Service
Clean filter
Inform ISAL Customer Service
Adjust the side seals
Switch on blower
Clean dust filter
Check/replace the filter washers
Inform ISAL Customer Service
Empty the collection container
Clean dust filter
Replace the main brush
Adjust the trace of the main brush
Replace the flap in the container
