Instructions for care
– The product should be washed
before its first use and then on
a regular basis.
– Remove the pad from its
sleeve before washing. It can
be cleaned with a damp cloth.
To insert the pad again correctly,
the side with the nubs must face
backwards when it is inserted
into the sleeve (Figure 4).
– Close all of the Velcro fasteners
and wash the product separately
in a wash bag at a maximum of
30 °C. Use a mild detergent that
does not contain fabric softener
(e.g. Ofa Clean special detergent)
Reporting obligation
In accordance with legal provisions
within the EU, patients and users
are obliged to report any serious
incident that occurs when using
a medical device to both the
manufacturer and the competent
national authorities (in Germany
BfArM, Bundesinstitut für
Arzneimittel und Medizinprodukte,
the Federal Institute for Drugs and
Medical Devices) immediately.
Indications
– Acute and chronic pain in the
lumbar and sacral regions of the
spine
– Degenerative changes to the
lumbar spine
Only the 28 cm version:
– Minor spondylolisthesis
– Aftercare of fractures of the
lumbar spine

product can be put on a gentle
spin cycle, but please do not wring
it out.
– Mould the product into the right
shape and let it dry in the air. Do
not dry the product in a tumble
dryer, on a radiator or in the
direct sunlight, and never iron it.
– To maintain the quality of your
product, please do not use any
chemical cleaning products,
bleaches, petrol or fabric softener
on it. Do not apply any fatty or
acidic creams, ointments or lotions
to the skin in the area where the
Side effects
There are currently no known side
effects for any part of the body
if the product is used correctly.
However, if the product is too tight
it can cause local pressure points or
constrict blood vessels and nerves.

Contraindications

Consult your doctor before using
this product in the following cases:
– Skin diseases or injuries in the
area where the product is used,
particularly if you experience
any signs of inflammation
such as redness, an increase in
temperature or swelling
– Feeling of numbness and
circulatory problems in the area
where the product is used
– Problems with lymphatic drainage
and unexplained swelling

– Store the product in a dry place
and protect it from sunlight and
heat, preferably in the original
packaging.
