14.5 GPS Zone
The "GX107" with connected GPS module can be used to monitor zones. After pogromming of the
permitted zone(s) (max. 10) and after activation of the alarm mode ("ENABLE"), every time the
permitted zone(s) are exceeded will cause an alarm message with the current GPS coordinate
to be sent to all saved phone numbers and emails.
Note: The map is taken from the OpenStreetMap project.
If the input voltage is connected, the current site is verified every second. If the "GX107"
is supplied by the internal battery, the current site is only updated at intervals to save
power. This time can be changed with the GPSSAVE command.
Programming the zones
The following command is used to programme the zones:
SET GPSZONE <latitude1> <longitude1> <latitude2>
<longitude2> #1513
Latitude1 = upper threshold (towards North)
Latitude2 = lower threshold (towards South)
Longitude1 = left threshold (towards West)
Longitude2 = right threshold (towards East)
