Important safety information
If you use a cardiac pacemaker, please
consult your doctor and the manufac-
turer of the pacemaker before using this
heated underblanket. The electric and
magnetic fields generated by the under-
blanket may under certain circum-
stances interfere with the operation of
cardiac pacemakers. However, the
levels are far below the permissible
limits: details of these levels can be
found in the "Technical data" chapter.
RISK OF BURNS! This heated under-
blanket must not be used by children
unless the control 1 has been pre-set
by a parent or a person in charge or the
child has been properly instructed in how
to use the heated underblanket safely.
RISK OF INJURY! This heated under-
blanket must be checked frequently for
signs of wear or damage. If there are
such signs or if the heated underblan-
ket has been used incorrectly, it must be
taken to either the manufacturer or the
dealer before further use.
If the mains connection cable of this
electric underblanket is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its customer service department or a si-
milarly qualified person to avoid any risk.
Children or anyone lacking the know-
ledge or experience to use the heated
underblanket, or anyone with restricted
physical, sensory or mental capacities,
must not use the heated underblanket
without supervision or instruction by
a person responsible for their safety.
Children must be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the heated
underblanket.
RISK OF INJURY! Do not use this
heated underblanket for helpless perso-
ns, infants or persons who are insensi-
tive to heat (e.g. diabetics, people with
disease-related changes to the skin or
scarred skin in the area of use, or after
taking pain-relieving medication or
consuming alcohol).

HOW TO AVOID DAMAGE
TO THE HEATED
UNDERBLANKET:
Please make sure that you:
· connect the heated underblanket to
the voltage indicated on the blanket
(label) only,
· use the heated underblanket in combi-
nation with the control 1 indicated on
the blanket (label) only,
·
do not switch on the heated
underblanket if it is folded or
bunched up,
· do not tuck the heated underblanket in
or wrap it around the mattress,
· do not trap the heated underblanket,
particularly when used on adjustable
beds or separate mattresses,
· do not cause sharp creases in the
heated underblanket,
· do not place any objects, e.g. suitcase
or washing basket, on the heated
underblanket when it is switched on,
· do not place any heat source, e.g. hot
water bottle, heating pad or similar, on
the heated underblanket when it is
switched on.
This can damage the heated under-
blanket.
Do not cover the control 1 and do not
lay it on the heated underblanket when
the blanket is in operation. The electro-
nic components in the control 1 cause
the control 1 to heat up slightly during
operation.
