CONNECT ROLLER SHUTTER TO THE STEEL SHAFT
Use the remote contol (OPEN/CLOSE button) to position the roller shutter
shaft so that the roller shutter is connected to the shaft by means of the
roller shutter hanger.
Note: To attach the roller shutter unit to the shaft, ONLY use the supplied
short fixing screws (11) (not for RPD10ER). Screws that are too long will
damage the motor. It is recommended to attach the shutter unit is without
any screws, using spring band hangers RZ41 / RZ42 (that are hooked on).
SETTING THE END POSITIONS
The supplied 041ARTX1 remote contol has already been factory-taught.
For learn mode to set end position adjustment, proceed as follows:
1. Activate learn mode with remote contol (recommended method)
Activate learn button on the back of the remote contol Press 4 x(Fig.
15) and then press the STOPbutton(Fig. 16). The motor confirms this
input by briefly turning twice in one direction.
OR
2. Activate learning mode at the motor head (alternative method)
Activate the red button (Fig. 17) on the motor 3 x 3 bleeps, then press
the red button again for approx. 2 seconds. The motor confirms this
input by briefly turning twice in one direction.
3. CLOSE / set lowest position Hold down the CLOSE button (Fig. 18)
until the desired lowest position is reached. Adjust the end position with
the OPEN / CLOSE buttons.
4. Confirming the CLOSE / lowest position Activate
learn buttonon the back of the remote contol 2 x (Fig. 19)and then the
CLOSE button. The motor confirms this input by briefly turning once
in one direction.
The end position closed/lowest has been successfully taught.
5. Setting OPEN / upper position Hold down the UP button (Fig. 20)
until the desired upper position is reached. Make adjustments to the
end position with the OPEN / CLOSE buttons.
6. Confirming OPEN / top Activate
learn button on the back of the remote contol 2 x (Fig. 21) and
then press the OPEN button. The motor confirms this input by briefly
turning once in one direction. The end position OPEN / top has been
successfully learned.
7. Final confirmation of end position programming After successful
programming of the end positions, the shutter drive confirms this with
5 x bleeps.
Note:
Programming the endpoints can also be done in reverse. (OPEN first, then
CLOSE).
