This AC adapter and Rapid charger is exclusively for use with KENWOOD transceivers.
The battery pack includes flammable objects such as organic solvent. Mishandling may cause the
battery to rupture producing flames or extreme heat, deteriorate, or cause other forms of damage to the
battery. Please observe the following prohibitive matters.
Use only the specified AC adapter and battery charger by KENWOOD.
Always remove the AC adapter from a wall outlet before attempting to inspect or clean the charger.
Do not disassemble the charger and AC adapter.
If the transceiver and battery pack are wet, do not place them into the charger.
Do not expose the charger to rain or moisture.
Do not use the damaged AC adapter and charger.
Do not short the charging terminals with metal objects.
Do not reverse-charge or reverse-connect the battery.
Do not use the charger in hot or humid environments, in direct sunlight, nor near heaters.

• Make sure the metal contacts of the battery pack mate securely

• When the charger will not be used for a long time, unplug the AC
adapter from the AC outlet.
