 Error reset button
Via the green error reset button, the controller cannot generally be reset from
error state to ready mode. Two error states however have to be acknowledged
internally via this button: "Cooling temperature too high" and "Overcurrent to
earth fault".
In any case, the controller's ready mode becomes effective only after error
reset via the I/O field or the BOS.
 Read out actual values via I/O field
The welding roboter initiates a request for actual values by setting the "Read
actual value" signal.
Upon recognition of this signal, the controller reads out parameter numbers
E32 – E39. The corresponding actual value is then set at outputs A32 – A47
and, simultaneously, the "Actual value ready" signal is output by the controller.
After the welding roboter has read out the actual value, it resets the "Read
actual value" signal. The controller then resets the "Actual value ready" signal
and sets the outputs to 0.
The welding roboter defines the sequence in which the parameters are read
out.
The actual values are consistent between setting of "weld complete" and the
start of the next welding cycle. During this period, reading out the actual values
has to take place and be finished. The current actual values are accessed, i. e.
the actual values of the last successful finished welding.
 Monitoring tip dresser result
The controller monitors the electrode dress results via phase angle and current
in the following way:
The operator defines a welding program for tip dress monitoring. With this
welding program, reference weldings and monitoring weldings are executed.
In this welding program, a sequence with "phase angle" mode without stepper
and without %I correction should be programmed in the main weld time.
The electrode to be monitored has to be assigned to this welding program.
The hold time within the program has to last for at least 20 ms and "Weld
complete" may be reached only at the end of the hold time. This is necessary
so that the output shows a faulty tip dress before "Weld complete".
The warning that is generated by an NOK monitoring will be reset at the start of
the next welding point of the same electrode.
 Q-Stop
(Starting with firmware version - 204, only together with UI-controller starting
with firmware version -404)
This output is set to 1 simultaneously with the output "Welding fault" if a Q-Stop-
error occurs. It is reset to 0 as soon as the fault will be reset.
