Float Lock (Continuous Operation)
For shallow water pumping or for continuous operation
of the pump, the float must be locked in the switch-on
position. To do this undo the screw on the float bracket
and pull it up and out. Then plug the float bracket, turned
by 90° back into the guide. Pull the cable down until the
float is upright. Then tightly screw the screw in the float
bracket back in.

Avoid running the pump dry. This may destroy the
pump.
Rinsing Device
The pump can largely clear the floor of the shaft in the
suction area of deposits. The pump power then only re-
duces slightly. To do this, as shown in the illustration, drill
three holes with a diameter of 5mm through the marked
areas.

Mobile Operation

A mobile operation is only permitted with suction screen
for safety reasons. If a hose is used as a pressure line, en-
sure that this is completely emptied before immersing the
pump for each pumping process. Remaining liquid would
still prevent ventilation of the pump housing and therefore
prevent conveying the liquid. For the same reason, before
immersing, also do not convey with a pump that is already
switched on.

5.3. Commissioning

The chapter contains all the important instructions for the
operating staff for secure commissioning and operation of
the machine. The following information must be retained
and checked:
• Type of installation
• Type of operation
• Minimum water coverage / Max. immersion depth
Also inspect after it has been stationary for a long peri-
od of time and remove any faults that you find.
To avoid material damage and personal injury when oper-
ating the machine, the following points must be followed:

The machine must only be commissioned by
qualified and trained staff following the safety in-
structions.
• The entire staff that work on the machine must have
received, read and understood the operating manual.
• This machine is only suitable for use under the oper-
ating conditions specified.
