English
1. Open the front cover of the machine
and pull out the drum unit assembly as
shown in the picture.
2. Place the drum unit assembly on a flat,
horizontal surface, and pull the toner
cartridge up and out of the drum unit
while pushing the blue lock lever
down.
3. Unpack a new drum unit. Install the
toner cartridge into the new drum unit
it locks into place, indicated by a click.
4. Re-install the drum unit assembly into
the machine.

5a. With the front cover open, press
Clear.
REPLACE DRUM?
1. YES 2. NO
6a. Press 1 and when the displays shows
ACCEPTED
close the front cover.
For Brother HL-1030/1230/1240/1250/
1270/1270N/1430/1440/1450/1470N
5b. Keep holding down the button until all
LEDs turn on with the front cover
open, then release the button.
6b. Make sure that the Drum LED is off.
Close the front cover.
For Brother HL-P2500
5c. With the front cover open, press
Clear.
REPLACE DRUM?
6c. Press 1 and when the displays shows
´ACCEPTED`; close the front cover.

1. Öffnen Sie die vordere Abdeckung und
ziehen Sie die alte Trommeleinheit wie
abgebildet heraus.
2. Legen Sie die alte Trommeleinheit auf
eine flache, horizontale Oberfläche
und ziehen Sie die Tonerkassette aus
der Trommeleinheit. Sie müssen dabei
die Verriegelung mit der rechten Hand
herunterdrücken.
3. Packen Sie die neue Trommeleinheit
aus. Schieben Sie die Tonerkassette
in die neue Trommeleinheit, bis sie
hörbar einrastet.
4. Setzen Sie die neue Trommeleinheit in
den Drucker ein.

geöffnet und drücken Sie Storno.

schließen Sie die vordere Abdeckung.

5b. Halten Sie bei geöffneter Abdeckung
die Taste gedrückt, bis sämtliche
Lampen leuchten, und lassen Sie die
Taste dann wieder los.
6b. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die
Drum-Lampe jetzt nicht mehr leuch-
tet. Schließen Sie die Abdeckung.

5c. Lassen Sie die vordere Abdeckung
geöffnet und drücken Sie Clear.
Trommel ersetzen
6c. Drücken Sie die 1. Wenn im Display
´AUSGEFÜHRT!` erscheint, schließen
Sie die vordere Abdeckung.

1. Ouvrez le capot avant de l´imprimante
et retirez le tambour usagè comme
indiquiquè sur líllustration cidessus.
2. Posez l´ensemble tambour sur une
surface plane et à l´horizontale et, en
abaissant le levier de blocage, sortez
la cartouche de toner de l´ensemble
tambour.
3. Déballez l´ensemble tambour neuf.
Installez la cartouche de toner dans
l´ensemble tambour neuf jusqu´à ce
qu´elle s´enclenche en position. Vous
entendrez un déclic.
4. Installez l´ensemble tambour neuf
dans l´imprimante.

5a. Avec le capot avant ouvert, appuyez
sut Efface.

5b. Capot avant ouvert, maintenez le
bouton enfoncé jusqu´à ce que tous
les témoins s´allument puis relâchez
le bouton.
6b. Vérifiez que le témoin Drum est à
présent éteint. Refermez le capot
avant.
Pour Brother HL-P2500
5c. Avec le capot avant ouvert, appuyez
sut Clear.
CHANGER TAMBOUR?
6c. Appuyez sur 1, quand vous verrez
´CONFIRME´, refermez le capot avant.
Italiano
1. Aprire il coperchio frontale della stam-
pante e togliere l'unità tamburo usata
come indicato nella illustrazione.
2. Collocare l'unità tamburo su di una super-
cie piana in orizzontale e, abbassando la
leva di bloccaggio, rimuovere la cartuccia
toner dall'unità tamburo.
3. Togliere dall'involucro l'unità tamburo
nuova. Inserire la cartuccia toner nell'unità
tamburo nuova; un click indicherà che
questa è bene alloggiata.
4. Installare la nuova unità tamburo sulla
stampante.

1. Abra la tapa frontal de la impresora y
retire la unidad de tambor usada como

2. Coloque la unidad de tambor en una
superficie plana y horizontal y saque el
cartucho de tóner de la unidad de
tambor al mismo tiempo que empuja la
palanca de bloqueo hacia abajo con la
mano derecha.
3. Desembale la nueva unidad de
tambor. Instale el cartucho de tóner en
la nueva unidad de tambor hasta que
escuche un chasquido que indique
que ha encajado en su sitio.
4. Instale la nueva unidad de tambor en
la impresora.
