• Press the heater control down and turn it to the ignition setting (
pressed down for 15-20 seconds. When you light the heater for the first time, you may
need to keep the heater control pressed down for a little longer to allow the gas to
reach the burner. While you hold the heater control pressed down, press the igniter
button down several times in a row until the pilot light in the centre burner is lit. Keep
the heater control pressed down for an additional 20 seconds.
• Then turn the heater control to position 1 (1 flame symbol) and release the heater
control. If the pilot light does not go out, the heater is working without any problems.
However, if the pilot light goes out, you need to turn the heater control to the off
position and you must close the valve on the gas cylinder. Wait for 3 minutes and then
repeat the steps shown above.
• If you also want to light the other burners, you have to turn the heater control to the
middle power setting, position 2 (2 flame symbols) or the highest power setting,
position 3 (3 flame symbols).
• No matter which heater control setting you choose, the pilot light will be visible when
the heater is lit.
• The heater cannot be switched off using the heater control. To switch the heater off,
you need to close the valve on the gas cylinder completely, and then turn the heater
control to the off position.
Important! The safety grill and the front panel remain hot even after use. Do not touch
these parts until they have cooled down.
• The valve on the gas cylinder must never be open when the heater is not being used.
SAFETY DEVICES
• The safety grill on the heater is there to reduce the risk of fires and burns. No part of
the safety device can be permanently removed. The safety grill becomes hot when it is
being used.
• The heat comes with a carbon dioxide monitor (ODS). The carbon dioxide monitor makes
sure that the heater switches off automatically when it is in an area that has too much
carbon dioxide (CO2). You cannot light the heater again until the area is ventilated.
• You must always close the valve on the gas cylinder when you are not using the heater.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
• The heater must be cold and you must close the gas supply before carrying out any
care or maintenance.
• Get a qualified professional to regularly inspect the heater to make sure it is
functioning correctly and has been properly maintained. The heater must be safe to
use and must not be damaged in any way. Do not use the heater if it is not working
properly.
• Use a damp cloth and regularly clean the casing of the heater and the surface on the
back. Dust can affect the functioning of the heater.
• Remove dust from the burners using a soft brush. Do not scrape the burners with
sharp objects as this could damage them.
