tended, lift the side rails F and to make sure they are locked try folding them.
The side rails F must be used as a safety device and not to hold the patient onto the stretcher. Use the
appropriate straps to fix the patient to the stretcher.
The back can be adjusted according to needs by using the lever A under the back and lifting it up to the
desired height. Pay attention to risk of crushing when you bring the back in horizontal position.
The casters under the back help to load the stretcher on the ambulance. They must be adjusted ac-
cording to the vehicle it has to be loaded onto. Perform this operation by fixing the pin in the hole B that
matches the desired height.
The stretcher has a mechanical device to help load and unload it off of a vehicle.
Use the levers on the side of the operator (feet) to fold the legs and load: the left lever D unlocks the front
legs. This is the first one to engage during loading operations, whereas the right lever E unlocks the back
legs. When unloading the stretcher, make sure the legs are blocked when they are in upright position.
Attention: use the right lever during loading/unloading operations. Do not engage them acciden-
tally! Accidentally unlocking the legs could harm the patient or operator!

MAINTENANCE

Clean the stretcher without using abrasive products or solvents (we suggest using soap and water).
After washing the stretcher dry every part thoroughly.
To disinfect, use a combination of cleaning/disinfecting products.
Dilute the disinfectant following the manufacturer's instructions.
Periodically verify the condition of the mattress and the hinges or joints and plan repair/replacing inter-
ventions if necessary. Periodically control efficiency of brakes on the wheels. Extraordinary maintenance
interventions must be carried out by authorized personnel only.
