ReproEasy Pad
Quick Reference Guide for Sartorius Models MA37|160
The performance test on models MA37|160 enables you to monitor
your device's function, testing both the heating unit and the
weighing system at the same time at the temperature you selected.
1. Start the performance test
– Select "MA Performance Test" under the "Calibration/Adjustment"
item in the Setup menu.
– Select a temperature close to the one you use from the list of
temperatures suggested.
2. The device now shows you the next work steps
3. Place the reference sample on the sample pan
4. Place the sample pan with the reference sample
"ReproEasy Pad" on the pan retainer.
5. Close the Hood
– The performance test starts automatically.
Evaluation of performance test
The device is in a perfect running state and displays "Device is OK"
if the Moisture Analyzer performance index (MApi) value falls
within the following ranges:

125 °C
165 °C
Up to and including serial no.: 00342xxxxx
Temperature adjustment
70 °C
100 °C
130 °C
Due to the effect temperature has on the results, the test is only
possible once the device has cooled down. If the device is too warm,
a relevant message is displayed:
Contact the Sartorius Service Center if the
message „Device is not OK." appears.

– Open the packaging of the ReproEasy Pad
and remove the pad.
– Remove the protective film.
– Affix the pad to the center of the sample pan,
sticky side down.
MA performance test
The device is too warm for a performance
test.
The device is still cooling down.
