6. Initial operation

Configuration
To configure the Linea_focus the Fohhn Audio Soft V3 is
indispensable. For connecting the it to a PC the Fohhn-Net Adapter
NA-1/2/3 is necessary.

6.1 Connection

1. Connect mains 110 - 230 V
2. Connect the audio signal
3. Connect the netzwork to the NA-1 (Fohhn-Net)
4. Connect the NA-1 to a PC or MAC
5. Start the Fohhn Audio Soft
6. The default network address of the Linea_focus is 1

Make sure that this address is not assigned to another device
or change the network address of the Linea_focus beforehand,
especially if you intend to operate several Linea_focus systems,
in which case you should change the address of the Linea_focus
before connecting the network otherwise communication will
not be possible.
Each address may only appear in the network once!
6.2 Configuring the network address

1. Connect the Linea_focus to the NA-1 and PC
2. Start the Fohhn Audio Soft
3. Open device list
4. Pressing the "Change ID" button in the transfer window allows
you to change the network address

7. Simulation of the Beam/Focus

An acoustic simulation that allows the simple interactive adaptation
of Linea_focus systems in realtime is integrated in Fohhn Audio Soft
V3.x.
The frequency response and sound pressure level at every position
can be viewed at the click of a mouse.

7.1 Where to find the simulation

Click on "Focus Simulation" in Fohhn Audio Soft to open the
simulation window.

7.2 How to select my Linea_focus

There is a list of connected Linea_focus systems in the bottom
left corner of the window. Click on the Linea_focus that you wish
to select. Information relating to selected Linea_focus systems is
displayed on the left side of the simulation window.
