DO NOT use when tired or under the influence of drugs,
alcohol or intoxicating medication.
Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the
work area.
Keep work area clean and tidy and free from
unrelated materials.
Ensure the work area has adequate lighting.
Ensure that a vehicle which has been jacked up and had its
wheels removed, is adequately supported with axle stands.
DO NOT disconnect universal adapter from brake fluid
reservoir until the unit has been de‑pressurised.
Dispose of waste brake fluid in accordance with local
authority regulations.
Always read and comply with the warnings on the brake
fluid container.
Wear suitable clothing to avoid snagging. DO NOT wear
jewellery, and tie back long hair.

Electrical Safety

The electric motor has been designed for one voltage only.
Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage
on the rating plate.
Your Expert tool is double insulated therefore no earth
wire is required.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced only by
Expert or an authorised service organisation.

OPERATION

WARNING: Before using familiarise yourself with
the hazards of brake fluid. Read and understand the
manufacturer's instructions on the container.

CAUTION: Wear safety glasses and gloves during
operation. DO NOT come into contact with brake fluid.
Keep fire away from work area. Recycle the waste brake
fluid to a waste authority.

Preparing the Brake Bleeder for Usage (Fig. A)
1. Before using on a vehicle for the first time, bleed all air out of
the unit's system.
2. Half fill the unit's reservoir with fluid of the required
specification, leaving the fluid reservoir cap off
3. Make sure that the power switch
and the pressure relief valve
clockwise) position before connecting one end of the power
cable
to the power supply port
 9
suitable battery.
4. Attach the adapter
 11
to the fluid delivery hose's
fit coupling
 4
at the end of the bleed pipe. Hold the cap
over the open neck of the unit reservoir so that fluid will be
expelled from the adapter into the reservoir.
5. Turn the unit ON using the power switch. As brake fluid is
drawn through the unit, air will be expelled from the system.
6. Turn the pressure relief valve halfway between its maximum
and minimum positions.
7. Run the brake bleeder for two minutes, then turn off the
unit using the power switch.
8. Bleed pipe is disconnected from the hose's quick fit
coupling. The unit is now ready to use.
Brake Bleeding (Fig. A)
DO NOt touch the vehicle's brake pedal while brake bleeding.
Refer to the vehicle manufacturer's instructions for brake
bleeding and wheel sequence before beginning the brake
bleeding procedure. If the manufacturer has not supplied
a specific instructions for the maximum pressure for this
procedure, keep the pressure within the 1.5 to 2 Bar range on
the pressure gauge
 7
, to avoid damage to the unit.
1. Jack the vehicle up and remove the wheels from the vehicle.
2. Remove the cap on the vehicle's brake fluid reservoir.
3. If necessary, top up the brake fluid reservoir, allowing some
air space above the fluid.
4. Fit the suitable adapter to the brake fluid reservoir and
securely tighten it to ensure a good seal.
5. Connect the pressure fluid delivery hose's quick connector
to the universal adapter.
6. Rotate the pressure relief valve on the unit clockwise and
switch on the unit.
7. Adjust the pressure by rotating the pressure relief
valve
 2
anti‑clockwise or rotating the pressure adjustment
knob
until reaching the required pressure on the gauge,
 6
not to exceed 2 Bar for safety purpose.
8. Each brake cylinder must be bled in its correct sequence.
This information may be available in the owners manual or
at your local manufacturers service center.
9. Connect one end of a tube from the fluid collection
bottle
 12
to the brake nipple and, using a brake spanner,
open the nipple approximately a quarter turn, brake fluid
will flow through the clear pipe into the bottle, when there
are no visible bubbles in the fluid, tighten the bleed nipple
and carefully remove the pipe.
