The maximum earth coverage from tank shoulder
"A" results from the maximum length of the original
shaft extension and is 780 mm maximum.
This may not be further lengthened, but can be
shortened to 400 mm minimum if required.
The earth coverage over tank cover "B" is 200 mm
The tank must not be installed under traffic area.
The tanks must not be installed in groundwater/
stratum water.
If it is to be expected that ground water/stratum
water could occur even just occasionally, this must
be discharged via a drain line.
As the occurrence of ground water/stratum water
is very difficult to rule out in advance, we generally
recommend the laying of a drain line.
