About the BE2030 Mino personal amplifier
Intended purpose
The intended purpose of this assistive listening device is to amplify the volume and
improve the speech intelligibility during conversations and TV-listening. It can also
be used with other sound sources.
Principle of operation
The device is typically placed on a table or hung around the neck. It picks up the
surrounding sound via an internal microphone, clarifies the speech and suppresses
the background noise. The user can listen with headphones, earphones or via
hearing aids (neckloop accessory required).
Intended user group
The intended user group consists of people of all ages experiencing mild to severe
hearing loss that need sound amplification in different situations.

amplifier and the sound level can
cause discomfort or, in serious cas-
es, endanger hearing if the product
is used carelessly. Always turn the
volume down to a low level before
putting on the headphones!
Protect the device from shocks
during storage and transport.
Use of this equipment adjacent to
or stacked with other equipment
should be avoided because it
could result in improper operation.
If such use is necessary, this equip-
ment and the other equipment
should be observed to verify that
they are operating normally.
Use of accessories, transducers and
cables other than those specified
or provided by the manufacturer
of this equipment could result in
increased electromagnetic emis-
sions or decreased electromagnet-
ic immunity of this equipment and
result in improper operation.

as vases must not be placed on the
unit. To disconnect the power fully,
the adapter plug must be discon-
nected from the mains socket. The
adapter plug must not be blocked
and must be easy to access for the

shown on the rear.
