• Die Verkabelung der Sensoren/Kontakte mit den Eingängen sowohl direkt im
Steuergerät als auch an den Erweiterungsmodulen darf 100 m nicht über-
schreiten.
ACHTUNG: Von der Reihenschaltung mehrerer Kontakte wird abgeraten, zu-
mal hierbei der gegebenenfalls geöffnete oder manipulierte Kontakt nicht er-
kannt wird.
Diese Empfehlung gilt um so mehr für die Sensoren, da diese nicht nur die
Alarmanzeige steuern, sondern auch die Manipulation oder die Abdeckung
(doppelter oder dreifacher Abgleich der Eingänge) signalisieren. Das ist hingegen
nicht möglich, wenn die Geräte an demselben Eingang reihengeschaltet sind.
• Die Verkabelung des RS485-Busses kann in freier Topologie erfolgen, so dass
alle jeweils erforderlichen Abzweigungen ausgebildet werden können. Soweit
möglich, wird allerdings eine direkte Verbindung empfohlen.
• Die maximal zulässige Verkabelungslänge beträgt 600 m (Summe sämtlicher
gestreckten Bus-Stränge).
• Mit dem Isolator-/Verstärkermodul Art. 01711 kann der RS485-Bus um weitere
600 m Kabellänge erweitert werden.
Erdschluss des Steuergeräts
Für den Erdschluss ist die entsprechende Klemme unter dem Transformator neben
dessen Versorgungsanschluss zu verwenden; anhand der Faston-Klemme ist dar-
über hinaus auch der Deckel zu erden.
Achtung: Der vorschriftsmäßige Erdschluss schützt das Steuergerät und all dessen
Geräte vor Schäden durch elektrische und atmosphärische Entladungen und ga-
rantiert darüber hinaus den einwandfreien Zustand des Telekommunikationsnetzes.

Das Symbol der durchgestrichenen Mülltonne auf dem Gerät oder seiner Verpackung weist darauf hin, dass
das Produkt am Ende seiner Nutzungsdauer getrennt von den anderen Abfällen zu entsorgen ist. Nach
Ende der Nutzungsdauer obliegt es dem Nutzer, das Produkt in einer geeigneten Sammelstelle für getrennte
Müllentsorgung zu deponieren oder es dem Händler bei Ankauf eines neuen Produkts zu übergeben. Bei
Händlern mit einer Verkaufsfläche von mindestens 400 m
unter 25 cm kostenlos und ohne Kaufzwang abgegeben werden. Die angemessene Mülltrennung für das
dem Recycling, der Behandlung und der umweltverträglichen Entsorgung zugeführten Gerätes trägt dazu
bei, mögliche negative Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt und die Gesundheit zu vermeiden und begünstigt den
Wiedereinsatz und/oder das Recyceln der Materialien, aus denen das Gerat besteht.

By-alarm programmable control panel that can be managed via
on-screen keyboard, power supply 230 V~ 50 Hz, 8 local inputs
expandable to 24 via the expansion modules, 1 power supply output
13.8 Vdc 1.5 A expandable with additional power supply unit, 1 alarm
relay output, 1 change-over relay output 3 A 24 V~ expandable with
another 24 via expansion modules, complete with metal enclosure,
surface mounting.
The microprocessor control panel is equipped with 8 input lines, expandable to
24 zones and is managed with the keyboard art. 01705.DE and with connec-
tor 20478-19478-14478; it is designed for connecting to PSTN communica-
tor 01708 and installing the voice synthesis module 01713.EN and the GSM
transmitter/receiver module 01706. The backlit on-screen keyboard allows a
facilitated direct dialogue by the user for all the system management functions.
The programming can take
el via the keyboard or with a two-way connection over the telephone
line or via the PC where the By-alarm Manager software is installed.
CAUTION: The control panel is supplied already preconfigured for managing
6 zones as illustrated in the installer manual that can be downloaded from the
Vimar website. After powering up the system, if the connected devices are
not the ones contemplated by that pre-configuration, the keyboard will start
sounding, detecting a tamper alarm; then perform the following procedure:
1. Type the user code 111111 on the keyboard to silence the buzzer.
2. Exit the user menu via the ESC key.
3. Enter the installer code 123456.
4. Go into the Inputs menu and set the desired configuration by using the
keyboard or, alternatively, configure the system via the By-alarm Manager
software.
