HEINE mini-c
Please read and follow these instructions for use of and keep them for future reference.
Intended Use
The hand-held, internally powered HEINE mini-c Examination Light is exclusively intended for
non-contact and transient examination of the skin, anterior segment of the eye and the pupil reflex.
The device may only be used by qualified medical personnel and in professional healthcare facilities.
For U.S. only:

Setting up
To set up, unscrew the head piece (3) from the handle (1) and insert two alkaline primary cells
(size LR03/AAA/1.5V) (Fig. 3). Then screw the head piece back on.
Operation
To turn the instrument on, slide the switch down. When the device is switched on, a green marker
is visible. To turn the device off, slide the switch back up. During examination of the pupil reflex,
a distance of about 50 mm is required. If a working distance greater than 100 mm is chosen, the
exposure to light decreases.
When the clip is clipped onto a pocket the handle turns off automatically.
