The following instructions will help you
install and use your DSR switch.

Connecting the DSR switch and
target devices to the PM IPDU (optional)
Plug one end of the RJ-45 cable supplied
with the PM Intelligent Power Distribution Unit
(IPDU) into the SPC port on the DSR switch.
Using the supplied RJ-45 adapter, plug the
other end into the PM IPDU. Plug the power
cords from the target devices into the PM IPDU
outlets. Plug the PM IPDU into an appropriate
AC wall outlet.
8 Turn on targets and switch
Turn on each target device and then turn on
the DSR switch.
9 Connecting local virtual media
(optional)
Connect virtual media devices to any of the
five USB ports on the DSR switch.
NOTE: To open a virtual media session with
a server, the server must first be connected
to the switch using a virtual media-capable
DSRIQ module (USB2 or USB2L).
