1. Important notes on safety and operation

- Read these instructions carefully before installation and keep them handy
for future reference.
- Only use with Power 48-5000.
- Only compatible solar modules may be connected. These must be selected according
to the technical data provide in Chapter 2.
- If several solar modules are used (serial or parallel connection), the limits specified in
Chapter 2 must be observed for all the connected modules combined.
- Each solar panel may only be connected to one solar charge controller.
However, several solar panels may be connected to one solar charge controller.
- Do not short-circuit the solar system when it is connected to the charge controller.
- Do not measure the short-circuit current of the solar system when it is connected
to the charge controller. This will damage the charge controller.
