Preparation for use
·
Remove all packaging elements and labels, but
not the rating plate.
·
Place the grill plate onto the housing.
·
Place the appliance on a dry, non-slip, and level
surface.
Before initial use
·
Clean the grill plate and the pans under warm
water using a damp cloth and some dishwashing
detergent. Do not use abrasive sponges.
·
During initial use smoke and odors can emerge
possibly from the device. Therefore the unit
should be pre-heated for about 10 minutes
without food. Meanwhile air the room.

cAUtIoN! the grill surface and
the small pans will become very
hot during operation. this can
cause burns or fires! Grab the
small pans only by their heat-
insulated handles!

Never cover the grill surface with aluminium
foil and do not place pots or pans on the grill
surface. The heat accumulation can destroy the
non-stick surface.
·
Never place baking paper or flammable
materials on the grill surface. The heat from the
grill can cause fires.
·
Never set up the grill in the vicinity of flammable
liquids or materials.
·
Make sure that the power cord never comes into
contact with hot surfaces.
·
Never set up the appliance in the vicinity of
other heat sources (stove, gas flame, etc.).
·
To prevent fires, make sure to choose a large
enough surface to set up the raclette grill. The
clearance to the top and the sides should be at
least 50 cm.
·
Never place the appliance against the wall.
·
Never set up the appliance in the vicinity of
highly flammable objects, such as furniture,
curtains, etc.
·
The grill emits a great amount of heat.
Therefore, do not place any flammable objects
or objects prone to melting in the vicinity of the
appliance.
·
Keep the grill away from heat, direct sunlight,
moisture, and sharp edges.
·
The unit is not suitable for outdoor operation.
·
Never leave your grill unattended during

operation.

·
Please note that the appliance heats up very
quickly, it takes considerable time for it to cool
down.
·
Do not transport the appliance until it has fully
cooled off.
AttENtIoN! Always unplug
appliance when not in use
and before cleaning!
Important information
·
Do not cut or scratch in the pans (2) or on the
grill plate (1). This will damage the non-stick
surface!
·
The grill plate (1) is particularly suitable for
grilling meat, fish and vegetables. The grillables
become particularly delicate, when sprinkle it
with a little oil or marinate it.
operation
·
Place the grill in the middle of the table on a dry,
non-slip, and level surface.
·
Cut meat into bite-sized pieces. They are done
even faster.
·
Insert the plug into the wall socket.
·
Switch on the appliance.
·
The control lamp will be illuminated.
cAUtIoN! the appliance
is now becoming hot.
·
Pre-heat the raclette grill for ca. 10 minutes.
·
Place the food on the grill and choose the food
you want to place in the small pans.
·
NotE: Do not stack up the food inside the pans
too high and make sure that the food does not
touch the heating element.
·
You can now either slide the small pans below
the grill plate on the cooking area (4) to gratin
the food.
·
NotE: When placing food on the grill, beware
that hot grease of water may spurt from the grill
surface.
·
To empty the pans use the supplied plastic
spatulas (7).
·
NotE: To pause place the small pans on the
unheated storage area (5).
cAUtIoN!
Do not turn the food using grill
utensils made of metal (e.g.
metal forks). this will damage the
non-stick surface! Use only grill
utensils made of wood or heat-
proof plastic!
Do not use aluminium grill trays
on the grill surface. the
accumuting heat is a source of
danger!

Switch off the appliance when not in use
anymore!
cleaning
·
Unplug the appliance and let it cool off before
cleaning it.
