2. Picture Geometry
Measuring instruments: Test pattern generator.
Allow the TV set to warm up (about 15 min.). Adjust the geometry beginning with the vertical slope!
On completion of this adjustment, store the values "with mem." via "DIALOG CENTER"–>"SERVICE"–> Service Code "8500"–>"GEOMETRY".
Service works after replacement or repair:
- Horizontal and vertical deflection and replacement of the picture tube: NVM IC82005: alignment 1.2 ...1.5, 2.1, 2.2

Preparations
Feed in a geometry test pattern.
Call up the"Vertical Slope" menu via " " (DIALOG CENTER)
–>"OK" –> SERVICE –> "OK" –> Service Code "8500"
–> "GEOMETRY".

Preparations
TV set in AV position.
Feed in a black raster.
Screen brightness: Grey raster just becoming dark.
Connect the voltmeter via 220kΩ to test points R, G and B.
Determine the point with the highest voltage level.
Voltmeter (220kΩ) or oscilloscope: test point with highest
voltage level.
Call up dialog line "Cut-off align" via " " (DIALOG CENTER)
–>"OK" –> SERVICE –> "OK" –> Service Code "8500".
Confirm with "OK".

Adjust the center line of the test pattern in the dialog line
"Vertical Slope" with button "
still visible.
Correct this adjustment slightly if linearity faults appear on
the lower or upper picture edge after having adjusted the
geometry.
Terminate "with mem.".
Set the picture according to the test pattern with button

Terminate "with mem.".

the voltmeter to read 150V
as shown below.

adjust the line appearing first - red, green, blue or mixed-
colour - so that it is just well visible.
Return to the menu with "OK".
