The three possible scrambling methods are:
Operating mode:
Picture
1. Scrambled
2. Scrambled
3. Scrambled
Method 1 is for Canal+ operation.
Methods 2 and 3 are used for example in Great Britain.
Video signal path
Due to the fact that the video signal is generally scrambled it is only
necessary to apply the decoder video signal switching voltage.
Audio signal path
Case 1:
The decoder is not stereo capable. Therefore the Nicam sound is not
scrambled. The decoder changes the audio path in dependence of the
Nicam decoder between internal and external.
Case 2:
The decoder is stereo capable for scrambled analog and Nicam sound.
Therefore the decoder is switched over to external operation (usual
case).
Case 3:
The sound is generally connected only internally (no connection to the
audio path of the Scart socket).
5.4 Forced Chroma Switching
Call up the dialog line "Color" via "DIALOG CENTER" –> "SERVICE"

to avoid the station name being displayed on the screen for a short time
when changing the programme.
5.8 Group Delay Time / Setting the National Standards
Call up the dialog line "B/G FM 5.5 NIC" via "DIALOG CENTER"
–> "SERVICE" with button " ". Select the standard corresponding to
the country where the set is operated.
S/SF/N = linear, B/DK/E = equalized.
In countries with standards mix operation (e.g. Danmark) the standard
is to be set via the dialog menu "Manual tuning" –> "Standard".

on switching over from TV to AV mode,
on changing the individual AV settings.
Having stored the minimum volume level the volume indicator bar is
displayed for about 10 seconds when switching the TV receiver on.
With "AUX" –> "OK" it is possible to re-set the optimum values for
picture and sound.
The optimum values are read out from EEPROM IC82005.
8. Audio / Video Connectors
Re-recording possibilities:
AV 1
–>
AV 2 (Scart1 –> Scart2 with 2 Scart sockets)
AV 2
–>
AV 1 (Scart2 –> Scart1 with 2 Scart sockets)
AV 3
–>
AV 1, AV2 (Camera –> Scart1,2 with 2 Scart sockets)
