Preparing for use

Remove the coffee machine from the packaging and position it
in a suitable place.

using the machine for the first time

1- Remove the water tank from its seat.
2- Remove the lid from the water tank.
Rinse the water tank and refill it with
still drinking water. Do not exceed the
level (MAX) indicated on the water
tank.
3- Replace the lid on the water tank.
4- Replace the water tank in its seat.
Hot water or any other liquid may damage the tank
and/or the machine. do not operate the machine
without water. make sure that there is enough water in the
tank.
5- Insert the plug into a wall socket with suitable power voltage.
6- To turn the machine on, simply press the On/Off button
control panel.
7- The service indicator light (orange) flashes to indicate that the
water tank needs refilling.
8- Follow the instructions described in the next paragraph.
using the machine for the first time or after a
period of inactivity
The simple operation described below ensures optimal brewing and
must be performed:
- at first start-up;
- when the machine remains inactive for a long time (more than
2 weeks). In this case, make sure that any remaining used cap-
sules in the used capsule drawer have been disposed of.
1- Rinse the tank and fill it again with
fresh drinking water.
2- Place a mug below the dispensing
spout as shown in the figure.
3- Press the Caffè crema button
(yellow) without inserting the cap-
sule.
4- When the mug is full, press the Caffè
crema button
process, then empty the mug.
5- Repeat steps 2 to 4 until all the water in the tank has been
dispensed.
6- When all the water has been dispensed, refill the tank and
repeat steps 2 to 5.
7- Refill the water tank; the machine is now ready to be used.

automatic turn-off

The machine automatically turns off after 9 minutes of inactivity.
To reactivate the machine, simply press the On/Off button
The machine can be turned off manually by pressing the On/Off but-
ton .

The machine can be used with a range of mug or cup sizes to
dispense your beverage.
The coffee dispensing spout and drip tray can be moved to obtain
various dispensing positions.
Follow these simple instructions to use your desired mug, cup or
glass:
Espresso cup or Caffè crema cup
