3. Turn the knurled knob without moving the square weight
so that the stylus tip is almost touching the record surface.
Notes:
• The cartridge weight range is shown in the table above.
When using a cartridge weighing more than 20 g (in¬
cluding the headshell) with the S-shaped arm pipe,
optional main weight "SW-Y55" is necessary.
• How to install the sub-weight
After installing the square weight, insert the sub-weight
by turning it. If this is impossible, move the square
weight backward and forward to find the click position
by turning the knurled knob.
4. Press the ZERO BALANCE button again to OFF.
The ZERO BALANCE indicator will go out and the tone-
arm will return automatically to the arm rest. Clamp the
tonearm.
Note:
About 0.5 g bias is applied to this turntable so that neither
a record hor the stylus tip is damaged when the power is
accidents > tjrned off or a power failure occurs while a
record

oe ng played. Therefore, the tonearm is raised
when the DQ.ver is turned off because the zero balance
when the
power
is off is different from that when the
ZERO BALANCE button is set to ON.

Hinweise:

w cht-Bere.che an. Das Hauptgewicht "SW-Y55" ist
erforde' c*. wenn mit der S-formigen Tonarmrohre ein
Tonabnenmef ve^wendet wird, der einschlieBlich Tonab-
nehmerhalterung mehr als 20 g wiegt.
• Anbringen des Hilfsgewichts
Nach dem Anbringen des Hauptgewichts das Hilfsge*
wicht unter Drehen einsetzen. Wenn dies nicht moglich
ist, das Hauptgewicht durch Drehen des geriffelten
Knopfes vorwarts und
ruckwarts bewegen, um die
Einrastposition zu finden.
4. Drucken Sie die ZERO BALANCE-Taste noch einmal auf
OFF.
Die ZERO BALANCE-Anzeige geht aus, und der Tonarm
kehrt automatisch zur Tonarmstiitze zuruck. Sichern Sie
den Tonarm mit der Tonarmklemme.
Hinweis:
Dieser Plattenspieler weist etwa 0,5 g Gegenkraft auf, so
daB weder die Schallplatte noch die Nadel beschadigt
werden konnen, wenn die Spannungsversorgung versehent-
lich ausgeschaltet wird Oder der Strom ausfallt, wahrend
eine Schallplatte abgespielt wird. Der Tonarm wird ange-
hoben, venn die Spannungsversorgung ausgeschaltet wird,
weil die Nullage bei ausgeschalteter Spannungsversorgung
sich von der Nullage bei auf ON gestellter ZERO BALANCE-
Taste unterscheidet.

• La gamme des poids des cellules est indique dans le
tableau. Lors de ('utilisation d'une cellule pesant plus de

• Installation du poids d'appoint
Apres avoir installe le contrepoids carr£, inserer le
poids d'appoint en le tournant. Si c'est impossible,
deplacer le contrepoids carre en arriere et en avant pour
trouver la position de declic en tournant le bouton
mollete.
4. Enfoncer a nouveau la touche ZERO BALANCE sur OFF.
L'indicateur ZERO BALANCE va s'eteindre et le bras de
lecture va retourner automatiquement sur le support.
Replacer I'etrier du bras de lecture.
Remarque:
Une polarisation d'environ 0,5 g est appliquee a cette
platine et de cette mantere, ni le disque ni I'extremite
de la pointe de lecture ne sont endommages quand le
courant est coupe par megarde ou qu'une coupure de
courant se produit alors que le disque est joue. Par con¬
sequent, le bras de lecture est souleve quand le courant est
coup£ parce que la balance de zero est differente de celle
qui existe quand la touche de ZERO BALANCE est place
sur ON.
