8. The product is powered by 4 x AAA (LR03). Use only
fresh batteries of the recommended type.
9. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity
(+) and (-) as indicated in the battery compartment at
the back of the unit.

I.2 SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Do not take medication solely on the basis of the
scale's nutritional data. Before taking medication,
check the nutritional data using a second source.
2. A plausibility check is particularly important with
regard to potential user errors (an input error, for
example) and differences in nutritional values of food
with regard to the scale's recorded reference values.
