1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Diese Miniatur-S/W-Kamera in CMOS-Technologie ist
speziell für den Einsatz in Video-Überwachungsanlagen
(CCTV) konzipiert. Sie verfügt über ein 3,6-mm-Objektiv,
eine Verstärkungsregelung (AGC), eine Gegenlichtkom-
pensation und einen automatischen elektronischen Ver-
schluss (Shutter). Zusätzlich ist sie mit einem Sonnen-
dach (1), einem Mikrofon (2) und sechs Infrarot-LEDs (3)
zur Aufhellung des Überwachungsbereiches bis 3 m aus-
gestattet.
2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch
Die Kamera entspricht allen erforderlichen Richtlinien der
EU und deshalb mit gekennzeichnet.
Die Kamera ist nur zur Verwendung im Innenbereich

geeignet. Schützen Sie sie vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser,
hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger Einsatz-
temperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C)
Berühren Sie die Objektivlinse nicht mit den Fingern

und verwenden Sie zum Säubern der Linse nur Mittel
speziell für optische Linsen.
Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen des Gehäuses nur ein
G
trockenes, weiches Tuch, niemals Wasser oder Chemi-
kalien.
Wird die Kamera zweckentfremdet, falsch installiert

oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann keine Haftung für
daraus resultierende Sach- oder Personenschäden und
keine Garantie für die Kamera übernommen werden.
Soll die Kamera endgültig aus dem Betrieb
genommen werden, übergeben Sie sie zur
umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem örtlichen
Recyclingbetrieb.

Please read these operating instructions carefully prior to
the installation and keep them for later reference.
1 Applications
This miniature B/W camera in CMOS technology is espe-
cially designed for use in video surveillance systems
(CCTV). It has a 3.6 mm lens, a gain control (AGC), a
backlight compensation, and an automatic electronic shut-
ter. In addition, it is equipped with a sunshield (1), a micro-
phone (2), and six infrared LEDs (3) for illuminating the
surveillance range up to 3 m.
2 Important Notes
The camera corresponds to all required directives of the
EU and is therefore marked with .
The camera is only suitable for indoor use. Protect it

against dripping water and splash water, high air humid-
ity, and heat (admissible ambient temperature range
0 – 40 °C).
Do not touch the lens with your fingers and only use
G
specific cleaning agents for optical lenses for cleaning
the lens.
For cleaning the housing only use a dry, soft cloth, never
G
use water or chemicals.
No guarantee claims for the camera and no liability for
G
any resulting personal damage or material damage will
be accepted if the camera is used for other purposes
than originally intended, if it is not correctly installed, or
not repaired in an expert way.
If the camera is to be put out of operation defini-
tively, take it to a local recycling plant for a dis-
posal which is not harmful to the environment.

3 Inbetriebnahme
VORSICHT: Blicken Sie nie aus der Nähe
direkt in die eingeschalteten LEDs (3). Ob-
wohl das Infrarotlicht unsichtbar ist, kann es
Augenschäden verursachen.
1) Den gelben Cinch-Stecker (9) mit dem Videoeingang
und den roten Cinch-Stecker (8) mit dem Audioeingang
eines Monitors verbinden.
2) Den Kleinspannungsstecker (7) an eine stabilisierte
Spannungsversorgung anschließen (9 – 12 V /160 mA,
Polung beachten: Mittelkontakt = +).
3) Den Monitor einschalten und durch Ausrichten der
Kamera auf den Überwachungsbereich die optimale
Montagestelle fu ̈ r sie feststellen. An dieser Stelle die
Kamera u ̈ ber den Kamerahalter festschrauben. Nach
der Montage die Schraube (6) am Kamerahalter lösen,
die Kamera ausrichten und die Schraube wieder fest-
ziehen.
4) Bei unscharfer Abbildung die Schraube (5) lösen, die
Abbildung durch Drehen des Objektivs (4) scharf stellen
und anschließend die Schraube wieder festziehen.

3 Operation
CAUTION: Never look directly into the lit
LEDs (3) at close range. Although the in-
frared light is invisible, it may cause eye
damage.
1) Connect the yellow phono plug (9) to the video input
and the red phono plug (8) to the audio input of a mon-
itor.
2) Connect the low voltage plug (7) to a regulated voltage
supply (9 – 12 V /160 mA, observe the polarity: centre
contact = +).
3) Switch on the monitor and by aligning the camera to
the surveillance zone adjust the optimum mounting
place for it. Tightly screw the camera via the camera
bracket at this place. After mounting, release the screw
(6) at the camera bracket, align the camera, and
retighten the screw.
4) In case the picture is not clear, release the screw (5),
set the picture into focus by turning the lens (4), and
then retighten the screw.
