INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing „i-tec USB 3.0 Metal HUB 3 Port with Audio Adapter". This is a product
that combines the functions of 3-port USB 3.0 HUB with audio adapter.
The HUB offers three USB 3.0 ports with Plug & Play option. The USB 3.0 interface is important
mainly for data transfers from USB 3.0 memory cards and flash disks which will use its high transfer
speed most. HUB is powered from the USB bus and has a built-in surge protection for your
computer in the event of a short circuit on the peripheral devices. The interface is backward
compatible with USB 2.0. You will just connect the HUB by the USB cable to your computer and
immediately you can start using it. It is an ideal companion for everybody who does not have enough
USB ports in his/her notebook, ultrabook or PC and who has to constantly connect and disconnect
his/her favorite USB equipment such as flash disks, mobile phones, tablets, digital cameras, MP3
players, printers, etc.
Audio Adapter provides the user computer with an output for headphones / loudspeakers
(STEREO) and input for microphone (MONO) e.g., for listening to music or for Skype communication,
etc.
The USB port will ensure the full function of the adapter and no external power adapter is
necessary.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Hardware requirements: notebook / PC with free USB 3.0 / 2.0 port. If you connect to USB 2.0
transfer speed and some function can be limited. CPU Processor Intel Pentium 1.2GHz and
higher, 512MB RAM.
Operation System: Windows XP SP3 / Vista / 7 / 8 / 8.1 32/64 bit, Mac OS X, Linux.
Note:
Prior to installing the USB 3.0 port, make sure that there are (for the USB 3.0 controller in the
laptop/PC) installed the latest drivers for it. In case of outdated USB 3.0 drivers problems during
installation or use may occur.
