The variable SP_D provides two bytes of output data (data transmission from the
control system to the device). The valve is controlled by this variable. The first byte
includes the setpoint value for valve control, the second byte contains the associated
status.
Is the first byte 0, the valve is not triggered, at all other values (1...255), the valve is
triggered.
If the setpoint value shall be taken over by the valve coupler, it is
necessary to transfer the value "good" (NC)-OK" (80
byte (status).
The variable RB_D provides two bytes of input data (data transmission from the de-
vice to the control system). The second byte contains the status (for more information
please refer to the manual), the first byte contains the feedback of the valve position
and the states of the PFCs:
Bit 0-1
Bit 2
Bit 5
The bits 0 and 1 (valve position) are evaluated by the valve coupler by
the bits 2 and 5 (PFCs). The bits 0 and 1 are only valid in the default
setting when version 1 of the PFC feedback method (see above) is
used.
The bits 2 and 5 are always valid, independent of the used PFC feed-
back method.
Additional functions (e. g. aktivation of lead breakage and short circuit monitoring) can
be activated by the configuration tool. Please refer to the manual.
If the GSD file (provided with the manual and available at the Pepperl+Fuchs home-
page www.pepperl-fuchs.com) is integrated into the catalogue of your configuration
tool the module identifiers can directly be selected from the catalogue.
Otherwise
a) the GSD file can be imported and integrated into the configuration tool
b) the module identifier bytes can be typed in directly. The required values are:
