Removing the blade guard (4)
Clean the knife (3) from both sides as shown.
Put on special gloves with cut
protection. Loosen the blocking knob
of the blade guard (9) and remove the
protective disk.
If the sliding carriage
(7) no longer slides
smoothly, lay the
machine on its side.
Clean the sliding
carriage (29) and
lubricate it with
Vaseline or cooking
oil (30).
