SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Please read this manual carefully before connecting the device to prevent damage
due to improper use. Pay particular attention to the sections containing safety and
danger symbols. Operators should be trained on the dangers associated with using and
cleaning cutting machines and the precautions to be taken.
General notes
• To protect against electric shock, never immerse the device in water or other liquids.
Make sure that no water enters the device during cleaning.
• Unplug the appliance when not in use. Also unplug the mains plug before carrying
out maintenance and dismantling work and before cleaning the protective devices.
• Avoid contact with moving parts.
• Never push food by hand.
• The knife is very sharp, be careful when cleaning.
• Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged.
• Repairs should only be carried out by qualifi ed service personnel and are
necessary when the appliance has been damaged, the power cord or plug has
been damaged, liquids have been spilled or objects have fallen on it, the appliance
has been exposed to moisture or dampness, has been dropped or is not operating
normally.
• Use only replacement parts recommended or sold by the manufacturer. Use of
other replacement parts may result in fi re, electric shock or injury.
• If the power cord or plug is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an
authorised service center or a similarly qualifi ed person.
• Do not use the product outdoors.
WARNING
Danger of injury! Always use the fully assembled slicing machine with
food bowl, food holding arm and all safety devices. Never use the
machine without the safety devices.
