5.4 Establishing the remote connection

Normally, you can power up your Lou Board as described in chapter 4.1. In some cases, the remote connection has to be
established as follows. For example if you exchange your remote control or the connection cannot be established as usual.
1. Turn the Lou Board on by making the wheels turn.
2. Remove the deck of the Lou Board to gain access to the motherboard.
3. Pres the "pair button" on the motherboard, circled red on the illustration. A
small lamp on the motherboard should start to blink.
4. Turn on the remote control.
5. Press the "pair button" on the remote
control using a pin.
6. Turn the reomote control off after a few
seconds and turn it on again. The lamp on
the motherboard should start to blink
again. The remote connection has been
successfully established.
