Checking the function
The force may be much stronger
when the actuator lever is actuated
for the first time or if it has not been
used for some time.

Open and close the actuator lever
(3x).
Result
✓ Ball valve is ready for operation.

tightness
CAUTION
Risk of scalding from leaking
medium (hot water)
▶ Maintain safety distance.
▶ Wear protective equipment.
▶
Test the ball valve for tightness at the
gland.
Result
✓ If the ball valve is leaky, tighten the
gland more securely. → See "Tightening
the gland", page 18.
