8.2.2 Adjusting the seat depth

The seat depth is adjusted by changing the position of the clamp brackets on the seat tubes. Two positions are
available:
To select the longer seat depth, choose the rear position for the clamp bracket (see fig. 10, item 2).
To select the shorter seat depth, choose the front position for the clamp bracket (see fig. 11, item 1).
The shorter seat depth is set at the factory. The process for changing from the long to the short seat depth is
described below.
1) Loosen and remove the screw connection between the back tubes and the clamp brackets (see fig. 10, item 1).
Make sure that the inserted bushings do not slide out of the back tube.
2) Loosen and remove the screw connection between the clamp brackets and the seat tubes at the rear position
(see fig. 10, item 2).
3) Bend open the clamp brackets far enough so they can be pushed off the seat tubes.
4) Loosen and remove the screw connection at the front position between the clamp brackets and the saddle
spacers (see fig. 12, item 1/2). Remove the saddle spacer between the round tube and long plate (see fig. 12,
item 3).
5) Move the clamp brackets to the front position that is now free, and slide them back onto the seat tubes (see
fig. 11, item 1).
6) Mount the clamp brackets on the seat tubes (see fig. 10, item 2). Retighten the screws.
7) Mount the back tubes on the clamp brackets (see fig. 10, item 1).
In doing so, ensure that the bushings are inserted into the bores in the back tube. Retighten the screws.
8) Reinstall the saddle spacers:
→ Insert the screw at the rear position (see fig. 12, item 1).
→ Push the saddle spacer between the round tube and long plate from the inside (see fig. 12, item 3) and
firmly screw it in place with the nut behind the long plate (see fig. 12, item 2).
