Changing the satellite settings

If the standard settings don't work with your receiver
system, you can change the settings manually. To
do this, you need to know the LNB type used and
the setup of your satellite system.
Choose the submenu
"SETUP/Installation/My Dish".
In the "My Dish" menu, choose the "Switch Type"
and "Toneburst" that go with your receiver system.
The following settings are available:
Switch Type
• NONE: Choose this setting if you have a
Universal LNB (single connection) (preset).
• DiSEqC 1.0/1.1: Choose this one if you are using
a multi-switch. Get the necessary settings from
the user manual of your multi-switch. This allows
you to set up to four LNBs (satellite positions)
(LNB1-LNB4).
• DiSEqC 1.2: If you are using a DiSEpC motor
control unit, use this option. Get the necessary
settings from the user manual of your motor
control unit.
Activate or deactivate Toneburst, depending on
the receiver system. For this, follow the instruc-
tions that came with your receiver system.
Now, under the satellite selection option,
choose "None". Press the "OK" button to show the
satellite processing menu.
Press the red button to show the satellite selec-
tion menu. Choose the satellite from the list (e.g.,
019.2 E ASTRA 1E, 1F, 1G) and then press the
"OK" button.
Make any other settings your receiver system may
require.
Press the "OK" button to accept the settings.

Searching channels

To search for a channel, choose the submenu
"SETUP/Installation/General Setting".
Automatic channel search:
Choose the previously set satellites for which you
want to conduct the automatic search.
Press the blue button to bring up the Scan menu.
For multi-satellite systems, press the red button to
search all satellites in your settings.
In the Scan Mode menu, choose the desired
search mode. "Standard" is for a fast transponder
search, and "Blind Detail" is for a frequency
search.
In "Programme", you choose whether to search
for all channels (All) or only free channels (Free
Only).
Press the "OK" button to start the search. This
process can last several minutes.
All available channels will be searched and stored in
a programme slot.
TP Manager
Choose the submenu "SETUP/Installation/TP
Manager". This menu lets you manage the available
satellite transponders and conduct a transponder
search.
To do a targeted transponder search, select the
appropriate transponder.
Press the blue button to bring up the Scan menu.
Then choose whether you want to search for all
channels, or only for free channels.
Press the "OK" button to start the search. This
process can last several minutes.
If the transponder you want is not in the list,
press the red button to add it. You will have to
enter the transponder data.
