Broken fuse

A broken fuse means usually a short circuit or an over load in the outgoing 12 V cir-
cuit. A broken fuse will be indicated by a red light directly next to the fuse, see Fig 2.
If no fuse is installed in a fuse-holder there will also be an indication by a red light.
When a fuse is broken, try to localize if there is any faults in the 12 V circuit, and if
possible try to correct it. Before changing the fuse, turn the AC-DC converter off. After
turning it off, change the broken fuse to a fuse with correct value. Restart the unit by
turning the switch to ON. See figure 2.
If the fuse, still, repeatedly breaks, contact a service partner certified for the Dometic
AC-DC converters.

SAFETY REGULATIONS

Do not alter or add anything to the Dometic AC-DC converter or the original instal-
lation made by the producer of the vehicle.
Never use Dometic AC-DC converter at a location where there is danger of gas or
dust explosions.
The Dometic AC-DC converter must not be covered or in any other way exposed
to circumstances obstructing the ventilation of the product.
Not complying with this User's manual may cause serious damage on the Dometic
AC-DC converter and it's surroundings.

MEASURES
to be taken in case of malfunctions
1. No current supply to 230 V and 12 V mains operation; the green LED does not
light up.
a. Check whether power has been disconnected; restore connection, if necessary.
2. No current supply to the 12 V mains operation.
a. Check the 12 volt plug-in fuses: faulty fuses are indicated by the red LED.
b. Check whether the unit has switched off because of overheating: the green

Check whether the automatic cut-out has been activated.
If necessary, replace the fuses by new fuses of the same type and the same
current intensity
LED does not light up. Switch off the unit and wait at least 2 minutes before
restarting it.
