6.1.3 Mounting the oil compensation reservoir

General information
¯ If the gearbox is in mounting position M4[C] (see section 5.2 for an illustration),
the oil compensation reservoir can be attached in four positions on the geared
motor or on your system. Lenze recommends position 1 or 2 if mounting the
reservoir on the geared motor (see Fig. 1).
¯ In all other mounting positions, the reservoir must be mounted on the system. In
this case, the mounting procedure starts at step 4.
¯ The included hose is 1.0 m long. The hose must slope downwards from the oil
compensation reservoir to the connection bore hole in the gearbox housing. The
hose must not form a siphon after mounting.
