TWO-ROOM INSTALLATIONS
The stand alone processor unit can be mounted
in a two room configuration, e.g. the front end
(feedtable) inside the dark room or the rear end
(film basket) outside the dark room. A set of
covering plates can be ordered for this purpose.
A hole has to be made in the wall when making
this installation. For size of hole in wall see
chapter 1.
CONNECTION OF THE PROCESSOR
Due to its design, the processor only requires
watersupply, a drain, and power connection. The
water supply and the drain must be installed by
an authorized plumber.
IMPORTANT: All plumbing must conform
with applicable codes and ordinances. Solu-
tion disposal must conform with applicable
pollution control regulations.
Use cast iron or plastic drain pipe and fittings.
Do not use copper, which can be damaged by
processing solutions.

PRE-INSTALLATION
WATER SUPPLY
Install in the water supply a filter with a capacity
of at least 25 micrometer.
To ensure sufficient rinsing of the material after
developing and fixing, the processor must be
connected to temperate wash water.
The processor is equipped with an aqua stop
valve 3/4" for rinsing water. The water tempera-
ture must not exceed 43
C, and the water pres-
0
sure must be between 0.3 bar and 10 bar. In
connection with the aqua stop valve is a flow
regulator which limits the flow rate to maximum
2 L/min. Length of hose with aqua stop valve is
5 metres.
To avoid water outlet owing to leakage of the
hose connection, always turn off the water when
the processor is not in use.
DRAIN OUTLETS
The processor has 3 outlet hoses (Ø25 mm) for
developer, fixer, and rinsing water.
The three separate outlets give the following
possibilities:
1. Collection of depleted developer (avoiding
pollution).
2. Collection of depleted fixer (possibility of
connection to silver recovery unit).
3.
Collection of contaminated rinsing water
(possibility of connection to water purification
plant).
Disposal of chemistry and rinsing water
should be done according to local laws
