Cleaning devices
For cleaning
– Soft cotton cloth
– Sponge
– Microfiber cloth
For drying
– Lightly moistened soft cotton cloth
Material damage due to incorrect cleaning devices.
▪ Do not use hard, pointed objects (e.g. Steel blades).
▪ Do not use hard, rough cleaning equipment (e.g. Steel wool).

10.1.2 Cleaning steps

Cleaning steps:
– If necessary, transfer the products to another unit with thesame temperature class.
– Lift and remove display shelves (including price tag rail). Clean before reinstalling.
For units with a removable return air intake grille:

– Switch cooling function off (see →Operating elements and displays [} 45]).
– Lift the return air intake grille, pull to the rear and remove.
– Clean the area of the fan in the inner compartment.
– Contact the maintenance service in case of heavy contamination in the area of the fan in the in-
ner compartment (see →Maintenance services).
– Clean the return air intake grille and reinsert correctly.
Devices with a fixed return air intake grille:

– Visual inspection of the area underneath the return air intake grille. Contact the maintenance
service in case of contamination (see →Maintenance services).
