1. Unpack the luminaire.
Remove the front face (frame) by turning it clockwise (only for versions: PILOT DL LED 21,
PILOT DL LED 30, PILOT DL LED 42)
2. Prepare luminaire installation hole in suspended ceiling.
3. Connect mains cable to LED driver's terminals according to polarity shown L, N, "ground". For
luminaries with electrical protection class II do not connect ground wire.
4. For luminaries with emergency module:
4.1. Connect battery to backup power supply. After first connection of the external module to
mains it is recommended to wait for battery completely charges (24 hours). Attention! When
external module is disconnected from mains power for a long time (more than 7 days) it is
necessary to disconnect battery to prevent its discharge.
4.2. Connect mains wires to terminal block according to polarity shown L1, N1, "ground".
4.3. Connect the power supply wires which provide continuous battery charging to contact clamps
L2, N2. Note: external module's weight doesn't exceed 1,0 kg.
5. When regulated control gear is used, control wires polarity must follow label markings.
6. For versions: PILOT DL LED 10; PILOT DL LED 15 - press the springs and mount the
luminaire in a ceiling recess (for luminaries with external module, the module should be put into
ceiling recess previously).
7. For versions: PILOT DL LED 21, PILOT DL LED 30, PILOT DL LED 42 - Install the luminaire
into ceiling hole and lock it with special clamps by turning front faced screws with screwdriver.
7.1. Replace back the front face (frame) by turning it counter-clockwise.
8. ATTENTION!
For luminaires with emergency unit it is prohibited to place extension box on the side where the
"TEST" button is located.

education as an electrician.
