The compression head is designed to crimp terminals and connectors with up to
30 mm² maximum cable cross sections.

Caution: Before starting operation make sure that all active parts in the working
area are disconnected. If this is not possible, take appropriate protection
measures for working in the proximity of active parts.
First prepare a pair of dies 4 adequate for the specifi c usage. Please check that you
use the corresponding dies in the tables of our catalogue. Then open the head for the
compression 1 . To do this, push the hook 3 out sideways. Then insert the two dies
in the guides 2 and fi x them on the piston in the spring provided. Now position the
material to be compressed in the tool and close the die holder guides 2 and the hook
(3), to start the connection operation. The tool is now ready for usage. Now remove the
die out sidewards of the compression head.

Caution: This tool works under pressure. Keep hands out of danger zone between
the two dies during the crimping process.
