    2.1. PATIENT PROFILE Ministar 2 supplies medical gas by means of the control flow head in flow range from 0 to 15 (25) l/min. Saturation of the medical gas must be prescribed by the doctor or an anaesthetic nurse who has got the medical education, assessed the heath status of the patient and supplies him with required amount of the medical gas.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Combination valve combines the function of shut-off valve of a high pressure gas cylinder and pressure regulator for the use with medical gases. Gas from the cylinder is first controlled by the main shut-off valve and then passed through the pressure regulator and finally delivered to the patient through the flow outlet or the pressure outlet.

    Das Produkt und die zugehörigen Geräte nur in gut gelüfteten Räumen einsetzen. Vor Erstinbetriebnahme muss sich das Produkt in seiner Originalverpackung befinden. Im Falle der Außerbetriebsetzung (für Transport, Lagerung) empfiehlt GCE die Originalverpackung an- zuwenden. Es sind die nationalen Gesetze, Regelungen und Vorschriften zu Unfallverhütung und Umwelt- schutz beim Einsatz von medizinischen Gasen zu beachten.

  • Seite 18 B – FÜLLÖFFNUNG A Die Füllöffnung dient dem Füllen der Gasflasche an einer Füllstation; sie hat keine patienten- relevante Funktion. Sie ist mit einem Rückschlagventil (NRV) ausgestattet. Das Rückschlagventil erfordert den Einsatz spezieller Fülladapter zum Entlüften der Flasche während des Füllens (Entlüften und/oder Evakuieren der Gasflaschen).

    • Überprüfen, dass die Einsatz- oder Gesamt-Lebensdauer des Kombinationsventils und der Gasflasche nicht überschritten wurde. Siehe Kapitel 9.   • Seite 21 Um eine Beschädigung des Kombiventils zu verhindern, muss das Kombiventil vor dem An- schließen des Fülladapters gemäß Abschnitt 6.1.3.2 entlüftet werden. GCE empfiehlt, für den Anschluss des Fülladapters ausschließlich mechanische (d. h. keine pneumatisch oder elektrisch betriebenen) Werkzeuge zu verwenden, um Beschädigungen der Füllöffnung durch ein zu hohes Anziehmoment zu vermeiden.

    Het combinatieventiel is ontworpen volgens de normen EN ISO 10524-3. 2. BEOOGD GEBRUIK Ministar 2-combinatieventielen zijn ontworpen voor plaatsing op gasflessen gebruikt voor me- dische gassen. Deze combinatieventielen met een gasfles vormen gaspakketten, die zowe l als gasbron voor medische apparatuur (anesthesietoestellen, ventilatie, couveuses enz.) als voor directe dosering van gas aan een masker of canule kunnen dienen.

Ze is voorzien van een terugslagbeveiliging (terugstroomventiel). Het terugstroomventiel vereist het gebruik van een speciale vuladapter voor het ontluchten van de fles tijdens het vullen (ontluchten en/of vacuüm maken van flessen).
