OPERATION OF THE POLISHING WHEEL
NOTE! The polishing wheel maybe operated only with disconnected power supply. Pull the plug from the polisher socket!
Installation of polishing wheel
Disconnect the tool power supply by unplugging the power cord from the wall socket.
Turn on the polishing wheel onto the spindle.
Press the spindle lock and tighten the polishing wheel (IV).
Release the lock
Plug the electrical tool cord into the socket, turn the polisher on and watch its work without any load for approximately 1 minute.
Pull out the plug and check the wheel attachment.
Covers installation
Make sure that the installed cover is free of any defects. It is forbidden to use covers, which have visible cracks, tears, frayings,
or any other damage or deformation.
Together with polisher there is provided the cover for polishing and it should not be used to apply on it pastes or other means for
polishing. The wheel, which is attached to the polisher, is equipped with Velcro, which allows to attach the cover equipped with
Velcro. In addition, there can be fi xed other covers and the other discs equipped with a threaded fi tting with the size specifi ed in
the table. When applying covers equipped with Velcro, they should be placed concentrically on the polishing wheel (III).
Non-concentric placement of the cover may lead to vibrations during operation, which in turn may result in uneven eff ects of work,
damage to the polished surface, and in extreme cases, to the destruction of the cover, disc, and polished surface.
Note! When attaching covers equipped with a drawstring at the edge of the cover, it must be secured and tight tied, so that it would
not untie during the operation.
Removing the grinding wheels
Turn the polisher off and unplug the electrical cord from the polisher wall socket.
Press the spindle lock and turn off the polishing wheel, then remove grinding wheel from the spindle.
USE OF POLISHER
Unplug the tool by removing its cord from the electrical grid socket!
Before starting the tool operation you should make sure that the housing body and a connection cable with its plug are not dam-
aged. If there is a visible damage it is forbidden to connect the device to the mains!
Check whether the polishing wheel is not damaged. If there are any cracks, scratches, or other damages to the disc, it must be
replaced with a new one, free of these disadvantages.
It is prohibited to work with a damaged disc!
You should choose the right kind of polishing wheel cover to the type of task.
Put on eye protection, hearing protection, and work gloves.
Check whether the switch is in the "off " position. Then insert the plug of electrical equipment to the mains socket.
Adopt the right body position, which is needed to maintain balance, and run the polisher by its switch.
Proceed to work by gentle applying the disc by its whole side surface of the work piece (VI). During operation, do not exert too
much pressure on the treated surface. Move the tool forward and back by smooth moves. Observe the eff ects of work and adapt
the speed and pressure of the polishing wheel. In the case of polishing agents, before starting work, read the documentation that
came with them.
Do not overload the polishing - the outer surface temperature may never exceed 60 C.

After the operation switch off the tool, unplug the power cord from the wall socket and review.
Adjusting the speed (V)
Polisher speed is adjustable by a rotary control located over the switch. The speed can be adjusted within the range given in the
technical data table. The rotational speed of each setting is indicated on the dial. Lower revs should be used for initial polishing
paste spreading, after its spread onto a polished surface you should increase revs. During dry polishing use a high speed revs.
The declared total value of vibrations was measured with a standard method and may be used to compare diff erent tools.
The declared total value of vibrations may be used at the preliminary evaluation of exposition.
Attention! Emission of vibrations during work with the tool may diff er from the declared value, depending on how the tool is used.
Attention! It is required to determine the safety measures to protect the operator, which are based upon evaluation of exposition
under real conditions of operation (including all the stages of the working cycle, e.g. when the tool is off or idling, as well as when
the tool is on).
